The goal of the EVN is to provide group and individual volunteers with hands-on work experience and education in the field of conservation and environment, while providing non-profit environmental and municipal agencies of the Toronto and Region Conservation's jurisdiction with capable environmental volunteers.

The EVN works with non-profit environmental groups and government agencies to identify conservation volunteer opportunities. These opportunities are then posted on the EVN's Conservation Volunteer Job Board.

Agencies requesting to be added to the Peel Regional Police volunteer agency list must forward a letter by mail to:

1. Describe the type of services your agency provides
2. List some of the responsibilities of your volunteers
